Bear Aware: Community Information Session

Scott Root, Utah Division of Wildlife Resources Outreach Manager, will present a program on bear awareness and will discuss recent bear activity in the Summit Park area on Thursday, July 19, at 6:30 p.m. at the Summit County Library Kimball Junction Branch, 1885 Ute Blvd. He will address safety issues and provide tips to minimize human-wildlife conflicts, and will answer questions from the audience.

Beats and BBQ Concert at Canyons

Mountain Town Music and Canyons Resort will host a weekly Friday Night Beats & BBQ concert series. in July and August in the Resort Village from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., complete with BBQ menu options from Canyons award-winning restaurant collection. The Fourth Annual Evanston Brew Fest is Saturday, July 21, from noon to 5 p.m. in Downtown Evanston, Wyo. The event for adults, will feature an assortment of beer and ales from 21 breweries and will include entertainment from the bands Two Weeks Notice, Late Bloomers and Steamrollers & Co.
