On Sunday, Sept. 9, teens were seen throwing mud at the dirt jump bicycle park on Holiday Ranch Loop Road at 4:48 p.m. They were trashing the park, the police were told.
At 3:34 p.m., someone reported losing a cell phone along the Rail Trail that morning. The police were told the person was called by someone saying the phone had been found.
A green Jeep was reportedly seen leaking gasoline at 2:54 p.m. on the 500 block of Park Avenue. The Park City Fire District was summoned.
Someone on Sidewinder Drive at 12:05 p.m. reported a rented bicycle had been stolen the previous night. It was last seen at 7 p.m., the police were told. Public police logs did not provide details such as the brand.
At 2:56 a.m., several men reportedly were making lots of noise while they were in a hot tub on Daly Avenue. Earlier that evening, at 1:14 a.m., someone on American Saddler Drive reported a hot tub party was occurring nearby. The people were rude and unwilling to quiet down when approached, the police were told.
The police were called to Main Street at 12:58 a.m., when someone complained that a bartender was stealing drinks each time the person got up from the bar or a table. The person who contacted the authorities initially called 911, the police said. The person sounded intoxicated, the police said.
On Saturday, Sept. 8, a dog was seen locked inside a vehicle for 20 minutes at 2:20 p.m. on the 900 block of Iron Horse Drive. Earlier that day, at 9:59 a.m., three or four dogs were seen inside a vehicle on the 300 block of Main Street. The dogs were inside for 90 minutes, the police were told. The dogs were barking and disturbing businesses, police logs indicated.
A cow moose and two calves were spotted on Daly Avenue at 8:25 a.m. They were in a front yard eating plants, the police were told.
A driver reportedly hit a deer on U.S. 40 at 7:14 a.m.
A suspected drunken driving case was reported at 5:18 a.m. at the intersection of Deer Valley Drive and Park Avenue.
On Friday, Sept. 7 at 5:46 p.m., someone on Three Kings Drive reported that a bank had notified them of fraudulent charges on an account. Public police logs did not provide details. Earlier that day, at 4:54 p.m., someone on Park Avenue reported there had been unauthorized credit card charges made in Hawaii and California. The cases did not appear to be related.
At 5:38 p.m., a driver reportedly hit a mailbox on Solamere Drive and dragged it for approximately 100 yards.
A white Chihuahua was reportedly seen running through traffic close to the Deer Valley Drive-Park Avenue intersection at 4:28 p.m. The police were told drivers stopped and got out of their vehicles in an attempt to catch the dog. Summit County Animal Control was summoned.
A suspected drunken driving case was reported at 3:04 p.m. on Kearns Boulevard.
A purse was reported stolen on Main Street. The police received the report at 9:34 a.m., but the purse disappeared the previous night.
On Thursday, Sept. 6 at 3:24 p.m., the policed received a report that a fire hydrant might have been stolen and then found. The hydrant disappeared a month before from Deer Valley Drive and was found on Norfolk Avenue, the police said.
Someone reported a rock was thrown through a windshield of a vehicle on Iron Horse Drive. The case was logged at 9:12 a.m. but occurred the night before, the police said.
A student reportedly skipped classes at Park City High School, with the report being filed at 8:28 a.m.
A suspected intoxication case was reported on the 400 block of Main Street at 1:07 a.m.
On Wednesday, Sept. 5 at 11:47 p.m. a suspected intoxication case was reported on the 400 block of Main Street. Just earlier, at 11:38 p.m., a disorderly conduct case was reported on the same block. It was not clear from public police logs whether the two cases were related.
On Tuesday, Sept. 4, youngsters were reportedly seen throwing rocks at people walking through the pedestrian-bicyclist tunnel underneath Kearns Boulevard at Comstock Drive at 2:54 p.m. The police said three boys were seen.
On Monday, Sept. 3, at 3:27 p.m., a driver backing out of a driveway reportedly hit a motorcycle, knocking it over, along Buffalo Bill Drive.
Three or four youngsters were reportedly seen on Sidewinder Drive at 2:37 p.m. throwing condiment packets into the street to watch drivers run over them. They were "making a mess in the street," the police were told.
