On Sunday, Sept. 16 at 3:45 p.m., someone reported a phone had been stolen out of a car the night before. The police were told a taxi driver might have taken the phone while picking up the car. The phone apparently disappeared at approximately midnight.
Three skateboarders were reportedly spotted riding down Mellow Mountain Road at 2:49 p.m.
A dog was seen loose at the Main Street-Heber Avenue intersection at 10:57 a.m. earlier that morning, at 9:34 a.m. on the 2200 block of Kearns Boulevard, a dog with shaggy black fur was seen running loose. It was caught, the police said.
At 2:26 a.m., the police received a report that people were on a balcony of a Main Street building yelling profanities.
On Saturday, Sept. 15 at 11:26 p.m., the police received a complaint that a vehicle had been idling for five minutes, longer than is allowed by city rules. Public police logs did not provide details, including the block number.
A driver complained to the police that the vehicle was blocked into a parking spot at the China Bridge garage at 8:18 p.m. Another driver parked too close, the police were told.
At 6:14 p.m., a pit bull dog was reported to be off a leash and attacking a man and his dog at or close to the intersection of Lupine Lane and Columbine Court, in Park Meadows. The police were told the man's wounds were superficial and he did not need medical treatment.
At 2:15 p.m., the police were called to the skate park at City Park, where between 10 and 15 bicyclists were reported to be inside. Bicyclists are prohibited from using the skate park.
A suspected drunken driving case was reported at 1:24 a.m. on Deer Valley Drive close to the Old Town transit center. Public police logs did not provide details.
At 12:51 a.m., a loud party was reported along Deer Valley Drive.
On Friday, Sept. 14, a naked man reportedly was seen running around on Shadow Ridge Road at 8:07 p.m. The police did not find the man and others nearby did not see him, the police said.
A bicycle was reported stolen at 2:16 p.m. on Main Street. Public police logs did not provide details about the bicycle or the location along Main Street.
On Thursday, Sept. 13 at 3:44 p.m., the police received a complaint about a suspected fraud case involving a debit card. The case was reported along Bonanza Drive, but public police logs did not provide details.
A truancy was reported at the Park City School District's Learning Center at 9:11 a.m. The student, at least one parent, Learning Center staff and the police planned to meet about the case, the police said.
A man was reportedly found sleeping in a pickup truck in a parking lot along Iron Horse Drive at 3:32 a.m. The man was told he could not sleep there.
On Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 8:32 p.m., two moose were seen close to the trolley turnaround on lower Main Street.
A hit-and-run accident was reported in a parking lot on the 1500 block of Snow Creek Drive at 10:37 a.m.
The police responded to an unidentified block on Little Kate Road at 10:34 a.m., when a gas line was reported to be broken. The police said two houses were set to be evacuated.
On Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 8:18 a.m., the police were called to the intersection of Comstock Drive and Sidewinder Drive, where several youngsters were reported to be dancing in the street. They were gone by the time the police arrived.
On Monday, Sept. 10, a horse was reported to be in the road at 8:45 p.m. on Payday Drive.
A home on Monitor Drive at 6:18 p.m. was reported to have been broken into, with the police being told it had happened within a few hours of the complaint to the police. A palm print was reportedly found in the kitchen.
A bag containing camping gear was reportedly stolen from a vehicle parked on the 1500 block of Snow Creek Drive at 5:02 p.m.
Someone on Red Maple Court told the police at 12:08 p.m. wood had been stolen after it was delivered to a residence and left in a driveway. Some of the wood that had been delivered remained, though. It was not clear from public police logs whether the wood was firewood or construction materials.
