Kimball Art Center members who dabble in creating their own work now have the opportunity to show their artistic creations in public.

Applications are being accepted for the Kimball Art Center's fourth annual Members' Pin Up Show, a non-juried exhibition and sale open to KAC members.

Members can display pieces of their work in the Badami Gallery from Friday, Sept. 21, through Sunday, Nov. 11.

On Friday, Sept. 28, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. participating artists and KAC members are invited to enjoy the show and Gallery Stroll.

Submission guidelines are as follows:

  • Each participating artist must be a KAC member or become a member.

  • Participating artists must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Participating artists must sign an artist agreement form.

  • One work per artist is permitted.

  • Artwork may be done in any medium chosen by the artist.

  • Artwork must be no larger than 24 inches by 36 inches and12 inches deep, unframed and unmatted, and hung on the wall with no more than four push pins. There will be pedestals for some 3D work, however, space is based on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  • Artwork must be valued at no more than $500.

  • There will be a 40/60 split between the KAC and artists with all sales. Proceeds from gallery sales will benefit the Kimball's education and exhibition programs.
