Earthwell Festival Sound Off Finalists Play at Riffs
Three finalists in the Earthwell Festival Sound Off competition will perform their acoustic sets at Riffs Acoustic Music, 1205 Iron Horse Dr., on Friday, Sept. 21, at 7 p.m. Families are welcome to bring food, and beverage and support these talented teens. Park City Film Series 'To Rome with Love'
The Park City Film Series will screen Woody Allen's "To Rome with Love," rated R, at the Jim Santy Auditorium at the Park City Library and Education Center, 1255 Park Avenue. Screenings will be Friday and Saturday, Sept. 21 and Sept. 22, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 23, at 6 p.m. Director Allen fashions a summer treat with an all-star cast including Alec Baldwin, Roberto Begnini, Penelope Cruz, Ellen Page, and Jesse Eisenberg among others in this affectionate tale of life in Rome today. PCMR to host free screening of 'IRPC' at the Town Lift Plaza
Park City Mountain Resort will host a free, world-premiere screening event of the film "IRPC," a skiing and snowboarding film featuring many big names in winter action sports, on the Town Lift Plaza on Saturday, Sept. 22, from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. The night will kick off with an autograph session with several Park City All Stars at 7 p.m. "IRPC (I Ride Park City), was shot exclusively at Park City Mountain Resort by Jim Mangan, the resort's director of action sports marketing, showcases the resort's 3 Kings Terrain Park. Friends of Park City Library's Author Luncheon Gerald Elias, retired associate concertmaster of the Utah Symphony and author of mystery books set in the classical music world, will be the featured speaker at the Friends of the Park City Library's annual Author Luncheon on Tuesday, Oct. 16. The luncheon will be at Deer Valley's Silver Lake Lodge, starting at 11:30 a.m. Tickets are being sold at the Park City Library, 1255 Park Ave., and are $40. Tickets are $35 if purchased from a Friends member. Tables of 10 are available for $350. Elias' books will be for sale at the luncheon courtesy of Dolly's Bookstore and can be signed by the author.
