Park City Day School science teacher teacher Peggy Fadling helps Nick Page, 10, use a turbidity tube which measures the cloudiness of a fluid and is used to determine water quality. Fadling took her class on a mini-field trip Monday morning to test the water of the East Canyon Creek.

"We're studying water as a precious resource," Fadling said. "...We're collecting real data that is submitted to the Utah Water Watch, data that is compiled throughout the state of Utah on water quality."
