The Newcomers monthly coffee meeting will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Park City Community Church, 4501 North S.R. 224, at 10 a.m. The speaker will be Kate Maxwell Stephens who will talk about the Adopt-A-Native-Elder Program. She will describe the upcoming Navajo Rug Show as well as the food runs and warehouse activities. Lunch will follow at Loco Lizard located in Kimball Junction. Community Church is Collection Winter Wear

The Park City Community Church, 4501 S.R. 224, will collect winter coats, hats, gloves, pants and boots of all sizes, for both males and females, through Friday, Oct. 19. Winter wear can be dropped off at the church Monday through Thursday between 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The Winter Wear Give-Away is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 20, from 9 a.m. until Noon at the church. Anyone in need of a coat or winter wear is invited to attend.

Hawkwatch International's Parade of Raptors at the Swaner EcoCenter
