On Sunday, Oct. 14 at 4:59 p.m., someone on a trail in the Park City-area mountains reported a dog bite. The police were told the dog's owner was there and the victim obtained information about the person. The bite broke the skin, the police were told. The victim told the police they planned to seek medical attention.
At 4:13 p.m., someone on Thaynes Canyon Drive reported that a golf ball struck a parked car, damaging the vehicle. Public police logs did not provide details about the damage. The police said nobody took immediate responsibility for hitting the golf ball.
A driver at the intersection of Kearns Boulevard and Comstock Drive reported seeing a youngster wearing an orange jacket and carrying a fire extinguisher at 12:19 p.m. The police said the circumstances were suspicious.
Someone at 10:26 a.m. reported overgrown trees were blocking the view of street signs and stop signs somewhere along Lucky John Drive. Public police logs did not provide a precise location.
On Saturday, Oct. 13, the authorities said they received three consecutive 911 calls at 10:13 p.m. from a location on the 800 block of Main Street. No one was on the line, the police said. Dispatchers heard noises like those heard in the back of a restaurant, such as dishes being washed and stacked.
At 3:06 p.m., bicyclists were spotted in the skate park at City Park. They were asked to leave. Bicyclists are prohibited from using the park. They are seen there occasionally, however.
At 1:20 a.m., a man was seen lying in the street along the 600 block of Main Street. The police said the case involved intoxication.
On Friday, Oct. 12 at 2:17 p.m., graffiti was found on a retaining wall along the 1600 block of lower Iron Horse Loop. The police planned to take pictures to document the graffiti prior to it being removed.
A room was reportedly heavily damaged by people who were inside sometime before the police were contacted at 11:16 a.m. The police were told up to four people might have been involved and they might have been intoxicated. It appeared from police logs that the room was inside a lodge or hotel.
A carbon monoxide alarm was triggered at 6:38 a.m. in a building on April Mountain Drive.
On Thursday, Oct, 11 eleven people reportedly became stuck in an elevator on the 2600 block of Deer Valley Drive at 8:29 p.m. The Park City Fire District was summoned.
At 11:15 a.m., bicycles were found abandoned at or close to the intersection of Lucky John Drive and Little Kate Road. Public police logs did not provide details about the bicycles.
On Wednesday, Oct. 10 at 9:49 a.m., a wallet was found on the 500 block of Main Street. It was turned in.
On Tuesday, Oct. 9 at 6:22 p.m., the police received a report that skis had been stolen from a garage on Gallivan Loop. The skis disappeared within a few days of the report being filed.
A driver hit a deer along S.R. 248 east of Park City at 6:54 a.m.
On Monday, Oct. 8 at 6:20 p.m., the police were called to Sidewinder Drive, where people in a parking lot reportedly were attempting to lure a dog into a vehicle. The police said the people were attempting to catch a stray dog to find the owner.
At 1:42 p.m., the police received a report of a theft from a condominium somewhere along Royal Street. The loss occurred at an unknown time between Sept. 19 and Oct. 5, the police were told. An undisclosed amount of money and keys were stolen, the police said.
