Reality Town volunteers needed

The annual Treasure Mountain Junior High School 8th Grade Reality Town event is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 8 and the school is asking for parent volunteers. Reality Town is an educational program that gives realistic financial education and experience to middle school students, according to the school website. Students must select an occupation based on their GPA and use an assigned monthly income and family scenario to make financial choices such as housing, transportation, child care and clothing packages. The school will need approximately 75 volunteers to help run the interactive booths for two sessions, one from 8:15 to 10:45 a.m. and the other from 11:15 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. To volunteer, sign up online at www.signupgenius.com . A light breakfast and lunch will be provided to volunteers. For more information, contact Nancy Rosenblum at nancyr513x3@gmail.com.
