Night of Discovery Gala

The Weilenmann School of Discovery is scheduled to host the second annual 'Night of Discovery' Gala Nov. 3 starting at 6 p.m. at the Stein Eriksen Lodge. The event includes a dinner, music, dancing and a silent and live auction. For those attending the Gala, Stein Eriksen Lodge is discounting rooms for the weekend, $149.00 for deluxe rooms and $199 for suites. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.wsdpc.org. Practice ACT at PCHS

The Practice ACT Exam (PLAN) will be given at the Park City High School Saturday, Nov. 10 at 8 a.m. The Park City High School Comprehensive Guidance Department will be administering the PLAN to sophomores. The PLAN includes academic tests in English, mathematics, reading and science, an interest inventory with career assessment information, a student information section on student plans and goal and college readiness advice. Sophomores interested in taking PLAN should see Rebekka Monson, the counseling secretary, for registration materials. The deadline to register is Nov. 7 and is on a first come, first serve basis. There are a limited number of tests available. The cost is $20 and can be payable by cash or check.

Veteran's Day Assembly

Jeremy Ranch Elementary School is scheduled to host the school's annual Veteran's Day program, where students honor veterans and soldiers on active duty. Both veterans and active duty members of the military are welcome to attend in uniform and be honored at a school assembly on Nov. 8 at 2 p.m. The assembly is expected to last for roughly an hour. Jeremy Ranch is located on 3050 Rasmussen Road Note and all families and friends are invited to attend.
