Halloween festivities will take place on Main Street beginning with trick or treating from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. The Howl-O-Ween dog parade will run from 5 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. with costumed pet and pet owners strutting down from the Egyptian Theatre to 9th Street. At 5:30 p.m., the crowd will gather at the Town Lift Plaza for a costume contest, food, drink and music. Admission is free, but registration for the contest, which will begin at 5:45 p.m., is $10. Halloween Spectacular Fundraiser for the Christian Center

A Halloween Spectacular that will benefit the Christian Center will be held at the Treasure Mountain Inn, 225 Main St., on Wednesday, Oct. 31, from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. The event will feature a haunted house, games, live entertainment, food and drinks for all ages. 'First Friday' Artist Opening at Starving Artist Exchange

Starving Artist Exchange, 283 N. Main in Kamas, will host a "First Friday" Artist Opening on Friday, Nov. 2, from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. The featured artist will be encaustic artist Sharon Sams. The public is invited to check out the stories and images that are buried in the wax of her works. The show will run every Friday through Sunday in November, from noon until 5 p.m. Admission is free.

'Park City Giving a Bleep'

"Park City Giving a Bleep," Park City's newest theatrical spoof, will be presented Friday and Saturday, Nov. 2 and Nov. 3, at 7:30 p.m. at the Yard, 1251 Kearns Blvd. Tickets are $25 and available at www.parkcitygivingableep.com.
