Salvation Army Needs Bell Ringers
Sign up to ring the bell for the Salvation Army for Wasatch and/or Summit County. Ninety percent of the money stays in the community to help families locally. It is a great experience and opportunity to remind our children what the holiday season is really about. Bell ringing shifts are usually run two hours, but can be adjusted. The ringing starts right after Thanksgiving and runs through until Dec. 24. The schedule is flexible with weekends or during the week. Sign up now by calling Amanda or Laura at (435) 657-4200.
"Forbidden Broadway" A Musical Spoof at the Egyptian Theatre
The Egyptian Theatre, 328 Main St., will present "Forbidden Broadway" a musical spoof through Sunday, Nov. 11. "Forbidden Broadway," a funny musical roast of Broadway that has picked up nine Drama Desk Awards, a Special Tony, an Obie, A Lucille Lortel, and a Drama League Award. Among the shows parodied include "Porgy and Bess," "Anything Goes," "The Book of Mormon," "Spider-man" and "Death of a Salesman.
Park City Newcomers Coffee
The Park City Newcomers Club will host its monthly coffee meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 14, at Park City Community Church, 4501 N. S.R. 224, from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Connie Nelson, executive vice president of the Alf Engen Ski Museum at the Utah Olympic Park, will speak about the park. Park City Young People November Social and Info Session
