Forest Service seeks input

Several projects proposed in Heber-Kamas Ranger District

The U.S. Forest Service is seeking public input through Dec. 20 on a number of projects proposed for the Heber-Kamas Ranger District, including restoration of the Strawberry River and a filming permit proposal on Mirror Lake Highway.

"Because they are the public’s lands, we would like them to have an opportunity to be involved in managing that," Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest spokeswoman Loyal Clark said. "This is a great opportunity for the public to be involved and help provide us information that maybe we’re not aware of and to bring a different perspective. The public has an obligation to be involved."

Information about the projects can be found at http://www.fs.usda.gov/projects/uwcnf/ .
