The Park City Police Department on Saturday, Dec. 8 received a complaint in the overnight hours that someone was "blasting" music described as "death metal."

The police received the report at 1:47 a.m. from someone on Deer Valley Loop, a small street off Deer Valley Drive just east of the Old Town roundabout. The police classified the case as disturbing the peace.

Earlier, in what appeared to be a separate case, the police were called to a location along Deer Valley Drive by someone complaining about the bass sound from a stereo. The police were told the sound was a recurring problem. The case was classified as disturbing the peace.
