Summit County Sheriff, David Edmunds addresses media at St. Mary's Church in Park City, UT about the avalanche on Dec. 19.

The Summit County Sheriff's Office is responding to a midday Wednesday avalanche on U.S. Forest Service land in Dutch Draw.

A spokesperson for the U.S. Forest Service said four skiers triggered the avalanche. None of them were caught in the slide and none were injured.

A Search and Rescue team responded, the Sheriff's Office said.

The slide occurred south of the Ninety-Nine 90 Express lift at Canyons, the Forest Service said.

Air ambulances with equipment that searches for signals from avalanche beacons flew over the scene, the Sheriff's Office said. The Search and Rescue team also searched for victims with probes.
