The Park City Police Department last week received a series of reports of hit-and-run traffic accidents scattered across the city.
In some of the cases a note was left on the victim's vehicle and in other cases information was not left.
The cases included: on Saturday, March 2 at 10:48 a.m. on Sidewinder Drive. The police were told the victim's 1997 Plymouth Neon was struck. A witness left a note, the police were told. A taillight was damaged, according to the police. on Friday, March 1 at 7:52 p.m. on the 1500 block of Park Avenue. The police were told a driver in a white Chevrolet pickup truck might have hit a black Kia van. on March 1 at 5:57 p.m. on Prospector Avenue. The police were told a 2002 Subaru was hit the day before. Public police logs did not indicate there was information about a suspect vehicle. on March 1 at 8:21 a.m. on the 2000 block of Park Avenue. The accident occurred sometime between 4:30 p.m. the day before and the time of the call to the police. A Volkswagen Jetta was hit, the police were told. The vehicle suffered damage to the driver's side front door and a front panel. on Thursday, Feb. 28 at 10:08 a.m. The accident was reported on Ridge Avenue and occurred sometime between 6 p.m. the day before and the time the person contacted the police. on Wednesday, Feb. 27 in the morning on Round Valley Way. The police received the report at 11:44 a.m. and the accident reportedly occurred sometime between 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. The police were told a vehicle backed into a rental car. A witness provided the license-plate number and a description of the suspect's vehicle.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, Feb. 28 at 10:59 a.m., someone on the 600 block of Deer Valley Loop reported a car was hit. The person who hit the car left their information. The police said the victim indicated there was enough damage to warrant a report by the Police Department.
