The Park City Police Department last week continued to receive reports of hit-and-run traffic accidents, a week after an earlier string of cases.
The cases last week included: on Saturday, March 9 A hit-and-run traffic accident was reported in an underground garage on the 7700 block Stein Way at 5:09 p.m. It occurred two days prior to the report being filed, the police said. on Friday, March 8 At 10:34 p.m., the police received a report that a car had been hit by another vehicle somewhere along Park Avenue. It was not clear when the damage occurred. The police were told the person was out of town when it was hit. The police classified the case as a hit-and-run accident. The person told the police the suspect vehicle might be parked nearby. on Thursday, March 7 At 7:35 p.m., a hit-and-run traffic accident was reported on the 1500 block of Snow Creek Drive. The police were told a gray Chevrolet pickup truck hit a green Toyota Camry in a parking lot. on Wednesday, March 6 A hit-and-run traffic accident was reported on the 500 block of Main Street at 1:24 p.m. The police were told the victim's vehicle was struck sometime the day before. The left rear bumper was hit, the police were told.
On Sunday, March 10 At 3 p.m., meanwhile, the police received a report from somewhere along Main Street that a driver hit a parked vehicle. The driver did not leave, but the person refused to exchange information with the other person, the police were told.
In the week before, hit-and-run accidents were reported on streets like Sidewinder Drive, Prospector Avenue and Park Avenue.
