The Park City Police Department last week received a series of reports of moose sightings, including in Old Town and the Iron Horse district.

The sightings last week included: on Sunday, April 21 at 7:52 p.m., a moose was seen munching on a tree along lower Iron Horse Loop. The person who contacted the police was worried since kids were playing outside nearby, according to police logs. on Saturday, April 20 at 6:37 p.m., a small bull moose was reportedly seen in an empty lot close to a home along Woodside Avenue. The animal was eating and was not aggressive, the police were told. on Thursday, April 18, a moose was seen at 11:26 a.m. on the 100 block of Park Avenue. at 10:23 a.m. on April 18, two moose were spotted along the 100 block of Main Street. They were not aggressive and were not creating traffic difficulties, the police said. on Tuesday, April 16 at 7:52 p.m., a moose was seen in the road at or just off the intersection of Main Street and Park Avenue.
The reports continue a string of moose sightings in Park City in recent weeks. Earlier reports were logged on streets like Park Avenue and Main Street. The animals were also seen at the China Bridge garage and in the vicinity of the Deer Valley Drive-Aerie Drive intersection.
