U.S. Travel Rally Day

Travel industry workers representing key businesses in Park City and Summit County's hospitality community will join together for Travel Rally Day on Tuesday, May 7, at the new visitor information center on S.R. 224 near Kimball Junction. The event will spotlight economic and employment development opportunities and strategies, for the nearly 10,000 workers who are employed in the travel and tourism industry in the county. The event in the tech center at the base of Olympic Park, 1794 Olympic Parkway Blvd, is a key activity during the National Travel and Tourism Week, which takes place from May 4 – 12.

First annual L'Oakley Grown Community

Saturdays this summer in Oakley are going to be fresh. The inaugural L'Oakley Grown Community Market will commence on June 29 and run each weekend through August 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the grassy area of Cattlemen's Hall on Center Street. The market will be a community event, featuring local artists, crafters, jewelers, fresh fruit and vegetables from the farmers market along with free kids activities, live music and food.
