According to Coalville City Recorder Nachele Sargent, 290 votes were cast and the tally was:
The top two candidates will go on to the general mayoral election to be held on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Trever Johnson is guaranteed to move on to the general election. However, since there are absentee ballots yet to be counted, it is not certain whether Arlin Judd will not move on to the general election. The absentee ballots could push Vernon, Burgener or Richins into second place.
