Historic Park City Alliance’s Kids’ Day comes to Main Street on Saturday

Kick-off the summer season Saturday, May 23, with Kids’ Day on Park City’s Main Street hosted by the Historic Park City Alliance (HPCA).

Main Street merchants will host fun, creative children’s activities throughout the day and take the hassle out of weekend planning. Families are encouraged to explore Main Street and enjoy a whole afternoon of free and affordable pre-planned activities.

The schedule is as follows:

  • 12:30 p.m.

    Bear Bench Walkway Grand Opening Celebration and Ribbon Cutting. Light snacks will be served.

  • 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

    Strolling Entertainment – A Balloon Artist and Juggler will stroll Main Street entertaining kids and adults alike.

  • 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

    Deer Valley Rescue Dogs at the Deer Valley Signatures store

  • 2:15 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.

    In addition, Mangelson Images of Nature Gallery, 364 Main St., will host an in-gallery scavenger hunt where kids are invited to find different animals in the pictures in the Gallery. Once they complete the scavenger hunt, they will get a prize from the gallery.

    Other specials events will be held at Dolly’s Bookstore, 510 Main St., and Java Cow Café and Bakery, 402 Main St.

    Also, kids ages 12 and younger can eat free at Chimayo, 368 Main St., and Grappa, 151 Main St.
