Park City Singers to perform with American West Symphony

Park City Singers will join American West Symphony and Chorus in presenting three concerts titled "Beethoven the Titan" this week.

The concerts will be conducted by Joel Rosenberg with chorus masters Tyler Kofoed and Debra Cook, director of Park City Singers.

The concerts feature Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 along with music from Stravinsky’s "Firebird" and Saint Saens Piano Concerto No. 2 with Edward Neeman on piano.

The first performance will be Saturday, May 7, 8 p.m. at Mount Jordan Middle School, 9250 S. 300 East, in Sandy.

Two additional performances are scheduled for University of Utah’s Libby Gardner Concert Hall, 1375 President’s Circle, in Salt Lake City, on Monday, May 16 and Tuesday, May 17, at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are available at the door for $12.50 for adults and free for students.
