Gathering of Barbaras

The annual gathering of Barbaras will be held Tuesday, Dec. 3, at the home of Barbara Pohlman, 1942 Evening Star Dr., and co-hosted by Barbara Maben. It is a pot luck and BYOB where the hostesses prepare the main course. A Spiritual View on Health and Healthcare

The Christian Science Church will host a meeting to provide a spiritual view of Health and Healthcare on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at the Park Hotel, 605 Main St., from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. This is one of a continuing series of Spiritual Value meetings that bring inspiration to various personal and community-based topics. After-School Club at the Park City Library

Park City Film Series: ‘Aspen Extreme’

The Park City Film Series will present Patrick Harsburgh’s "Aspen Extreme," rated PG-13, at the Jim Santy Auditorium at the Park City Library and Education Center, 1255 Park Ave., on Thursday, Nov. 21, at 7 p.m. The special screening is $5 at the door. This 1993 film is about two ski buddies, TJ Burke (Paul Gross) and Dexter Rutecki (Peter Berg), who move from Brighton, Mich., to Aspen, Colo., to seek a better life. The two friends quickly become Aspen ski instructors, but women, drugs, and job troubles threaten to destroy their relationship. All proceeds from this event will go toward the Ninos on Skis Program run by the Holy Cross Ministries, a non profit organization. The evening will also feature an 80s and 90s Ski Outfit Contest. Secrets From a Decorator: Stress free Holiday
