The Swaner EcoCenter, 1258 Center Dr. at Kimball Junction, will host James M. Coburn, from Utah State University’s physics department, for a talk on an extrasolar intelligence in the universe that will be followed by a Star Party with telescope viewing on the Swaner Pier on Thursday, Nov. 14, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Possible observation targets for the evening include: the moon, Albireo, the Pleiades and the Andromeda Galaxy.
