PJ Builders would like to thank the community for making our Summer Blood Drive successful! 20 donors visited the Red Cross Bloodmobile last Friday for the "Ultimate Recycle". Thanks also to the Blind Dog who graciously offered their parking lot, and Recycle Utah who helped get the word out. We are proud to be part of such a great community.

The Pharmacy says humble thanks
The Pharmacy team at The Market at Park City wishes to thank all of our friends and customers who voted us Park City's Best Pharmacy 2013.
The goal of our experienced, professional team is to provide the best service and products to all our customers, and to treat each person with dignity and respect.
This award is particularly meaningful because it is a selection made by our neighbors and friends in the community. We look forward to continue working to be Park City's Best, and invite all to visit us at The Market at Park City.
Steve Hamilton, Pharmacy Manager, The Market at Park City
Supporting Alex for City Council
I have watched Alex Butwinski grow from a person genuinely interested in Park City's issues to, four years later, someone who is absolutely passionate about the future of our community. If you know Alex then you already know this-it's getting harder and harder to get him to talk about anything else!. If you don't know him, ask around and you will learn of his involvement-movie studio and hotel development at Quinn's Junction; the recent mutual support agreement among local water companies that is so important to us all; working with the League of Cities and Towns; rebuilding relationships within the state legislature; and City Council's representative to the Planning Commission to name a few.
You will learn of the incredible amount of time and effort Alex applies to his Council work. This is a full time job to Alex and and he applies himself that way. I know because I can hardly get him to play golf or go on for a motorcycle ride these days because he is so committed to his Council role.
I believe we are very fortunate to have Alex Butwinski on City Council and hope you will come to the same conclusion. Please vote in our primary and please support Alex's candidacy.
Greatest Race will be the greatest
The 8th Annual Playing for Life Golf Invitational and Breast Cancer Fundraiser in Memory of Barb Mancuso will run Aug. 7- 9. That's three days of fun including a Greatest Race on the night of Aug. 7 which is open to the public, a women's golf invitational starting on August 8 for 2 days and our 19th Hole Gala at the Riverhorse on Main Street the night of Aug. 8.
The gala will feature a silent auction with NASCAR Car Racing, New York Broadway, and Pebble Beach Experiences, and much more.
This Playing for Life event will help three organizations: the Huntsman Cancer Institute, Image Reborn, and the People's Health Clinic. Also, the event is a bitter sweet one for PFL because of the passing of Vice Chair, Barb Mancuso who Melanoma in November. She will be dearly missed.
Playing for Life is pleased to have the generosity of our Presenting Sponsor, Lifestyle Lift and the continued generosity of our 19th Hole Gala Sponsor, Riverhorse on Main.

Executive Director, Playing For Life Foundation
I just attended a wonderful, late afternoon party with over 100 people celebrating
The Women's Giving Fund, an initiative sponsored by the Park City Foundation. We now have over 400 members in this legacy project, including young professionals making their first significant philanthropic gift, women who support many nonprofits, and women who love Park City, but only call it home a few weeks or months a year.
The goal of this project is to have 1,000 donors each giving $1000 thereby creating a one-million dollar endowment to benefit women and children in our community.
We heard from Christina Sally, Children's Justice Center; Nann Worel, People's Health Clinic; and Teri Orr, Park City Performing Arts Foundation, telling us how a high impact grants ($25,000+) would benefit their organizations.
In the spirit of full disclosure, my daughter works for the Foundation, but she had little trouble convincing me that this was a one-time commitment with a life long benefit.
Giving a $1,000 donation, to raise a million dollars that will benefit Park City area women and children, forever- what a wonderful idea. Become One in a Thousand! Please join us!
