Allen Lloyd Remund

September 20, 1960 -- July 28, 2011

Allen Lloyd Remund, 50, of Heber City was born September 20, 1960, in Provo, Utah, to Lloyd and Norma Remund. He passed away unexpectedly on July 28, 2011, with family by his side in Provo.

Allen was raised in Daniel, Utah, where he received his diploma from Wasatch High School. Later he started his own business, Rocky Mountain Weed and Pest Control Inc. He later added Rocky Mountain Snow Removal Inc., both of which have been very successful throughout his life and will be continued by his family.

He enjoyed boating, fishing, snowmobiling, hunting, and spending time with his family. Allen had a heart of gold. He was a devoted son, brother and dad.

He is preceded in death by his son, Austin Allen Remund, and many relatives. Allen is survived by his parents, Lloyd and Norma Remund, brother Wes (Carol) Remund, sister Jolynn (Nicci) Remund, brother Brad (Kate) Remund, son Cody Remund, daughter Ashley Allan, daughter Amber (Tyler) Rawlings, son Robby (Kacee) Robins, son Cody Robins, nieces, nephews, cousins and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 1, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. in the Heber East Stake Center, 2395 South Mill Road, Heber City, Utah. Visitations will be on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service, both at the LDS church. Interment will follow the services in Heber City Cemetery. Allen was loved by many and will be missed by all.
