The Park City Women’s Business Network is scheduled to host the January meeting Tuesday, Jan. 8 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Home Savings Bank Event Center located at 1526 West Ute Blvd, Ste 110. PCWBN is a group of women involved in business in the Park City area that meets once a month to network, support, promote and educate woman in business. The January meeting will feature a presentation by the "2012 Woman of the Year," Insa Riepen, the Executive Director of Recycle Utah. The meeting is free for members and $10 for non-members. Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month
The 14 resorts in Utah will be joining 32 other states, over 300 other resorts, during January in offering special deals for first-time skiers and snowboarders to promote "Learn to Ski and Snowboard" month, according to a press release from Ski Utah. Utah resorts have set a goal to give 10,000 beginner lessons in the month of January and are offering deals for locals to learn.
Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month is a national initiative that began in 2008 and has grown to 33 states. The program strives to make learning skiing and snowboarding easy, accessible and affordable for both children and adults, the release continued, including the following deals at the three local resorts:
Canyons is offering a $39 package for Utah residents, ages 4 and up, thru January 5 – 31, 2013. The package includes a lift pass, lesson and rental. Advanced reservations are required and are based on availability. Please call 877.472.6306 for reservations and information.
