DesignBuildBLUFF holds open house
The public can learn more about Park City-based nonprofit DesignBuildBLUFF started by architect Hank Louis at an open house in Park City from 5 to 7 p.m. on June 9 at 1255 Iron Horse Drive. It will be an opportunity for students and staff to thank the community for its continued support. This summer the program is beginning a new semester with a team of student architects from the University of Colorado the first group from outside the University of Utah. It has now expanded into a year-round program utilizing traditional building materials and methods to design and build two sustainable homes per year for families on the Navajo Reservation near Bluff, Utah.
Chamber/Bureau board of directors voting underway
The Park City Chamber/Bureau is inviting members to vote for volunteers to serve on the 2010 board of directors through June 15 at 5 p.m. Each membership receives one opportunity to vote.
Recycle Utah to host solar hot water workshop
Recycle Utah will present a "how to" workshop on solar hot water heating on Tuesday, June 22, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Park City Library at 1255 Park Ave.
