The Park City Police Department last week received a series of reports about vehicle burglaries, including at least two on the same street in Thaynes Canyon.

On Thursday, Nov. 22, which was Thanksgiving, someone at 9:47 a.m. reported a snowboard was stolen from a truck parked on Morning Star Drive. The vehicle was not locked, the police were told.

Earlier that morning, at 9:07 a.m., someone on Morning Star Drive reported a purse containing a driver license and credit cards was stolen from inside a vehicle in the overnight hours. The police were told the vehicle was in a driveway and unlocked.

Meanwhile, on Friday, Nov. 23 at 2:49 p.m., a wallet and a phone were reportedly taken out of a truck parked in a lot on Lowell Avenue.

On Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 12:06 p.m., a person on Sunset Court went to the Police Department to turn in a purse and a wallet that were found in a Dumpster. The police indicated the found items might have been taken in a vehicle break-in.
