The Park City Police Department arrested two people and is searching for another one after an altercation inside a Main Street nightclub sparked when, according to the police, one of the people involved grabbed a woman's breasts.

The case was reported at 12:56 a.m. on Sunday, April 21. Rick Ryan, a police captain, said officers were checking on the nightclub as part of their patrols when staffers said the altercation had occurred inside. The officers detained one of the men reported to be involved.

Ryan said a woman told the police the man had grabbed her breasts. Shortly afterward, and before the police were at the scene, two men who were with the woman approached the man and a fight ensued, Ryan said.

The man was knocked to the floor and the two men hit and kicked him, Ryan said. The men who hit and kicked him then left. He suffered injuries to his head, face and eyes, according to Ryan.

"There was some street justice on this one. It's dangerous," Ryan said.

A police investigation ensued, resulting in the two arrests.

Ryan said the man suspected of grabbing the woman's breasts was arrested just outside the nightclub on a charge of sexual battery, a class A misdemeanor. He is 29 years old lives in Park City.

One of the men identified as being with the woman and fighting the sexual battery suspect was arrested the next day in Salt Lake City on a charge of aggravated assault, a second-degree felony. He is 27 years old and from Taylorsville.

Ryan said the other man who was with the woman has left the state. He will face a second-degree felony count of aggravated assault, Ryan said.
