A parent reported that his daughter attended a party in the Basin where she consumed alcohol and smoked tobacco. The other parent had observed juveniles at the residence also consuming alcohol and smoking tobacco. Two individuals were cited for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
A man reportedly came to another's residence in the Basin and refused to leave at first when asked. Deputies located the man and told him not to return to the residence.
On Saturday, April 27, a North Summit man was arrested for assault and possession of marijuana after injuring his girlfriend.
An elderly Basin woman was revived by Park City Fire District paramedics after she was found by her husband unconscious and not breathing.
A deputy checked on a driver that was pulled off in one of the Rockport pull-outs and discovered the driver had an active warrant. The driver was subsequently arrested.
On Friday, April 26, deputies responded to a report that an intoxicated individual had walked up to the drive-in window of a Kimball Junction fast food restaurant. Deputies responded and transported him home.
Deputies responded to a "suspicious complaint" in South Summit and discovered an individual had a warrant. The individual was arrested and transported to the Summit County Jail.
A deputy stopped a vehicle in South Summit for no insurance, and discovered the driver had a warrant. The driver was arrested for the warrant, no insurance and driving on a suspended license. A vehicle inventory turned up a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
A deputy stopped a vehicle on Interstate 80 for illegal lane travel and discovered the driver was in possession of methamphetamine. The police dog used to detect illegal drugs indicated the vehicle contained narcotics. A search revealed both the driver and passenger possessed pipes containing methamphetamine. Both individuals were arrested and booked into jail.
On Thursday, April 25, deputies stopped a vehicle for a turning violation and to confirm the driver's insurance status. The driver was found to have two active warrants and was in possession of drug paraphernalia. The driver was arrested for no insurance, no driver's license and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Deputies received a report of a plywood theft from a construction site west of S.R. 224. There were no suspects as of April 25.
A man reported that five guns were stolen from his South Summit cabin. There were no signs of forced entry and nothing else in the cabin appeared disturbed. The suspect reportedly put the blankets that were on top of the guns back into place after removing the hidden guns.
The parent of a South Summit student reported her daughter was being harassed by another student.
On Tuesday, April 23, deputies received a report that a female Summit County student was possibly raped. When questioned about it, the student denied the story. The case is under investigation.
On Monday, April 22, deputies received a report that two guns were stolen from a Summit County cabin. According to the Sheriff's Report, there have been multiple burglaries in the area.
A man reported a vehicle followed him to a South Summit business and back home.
A driver reportedly hit a parked vehicle in the Kimball Junction area, causing it to hit another vehicle. The witness who reported the incident was not able to get a license plate number.
A man was allegedly observed shooting a gun from the driver side of his vehicle on S.R. 248. He was arrested for discharging a firearm from a roadway and vehicle.
