The Park City Police Department last week received at least three reports of suspected shoplifting cases.

Public police logs did not provide details about what the people might have attempted to take.

The cases included:

  • on Saturday, May 11 at 9:14 p.m., the police received a call from a business on the 900 block of Iron Horse Drive reporting that shoplifters might be there. The police were told two woman and one man, all appearing to be in their 20s, were at the business.

  • on Friday , May 10 at 5:15 p.m., two women suspected of shoplifting were detained on the 900 block of Iron Horse Drive.

  • on Wednesday, May 8 at 12:37 p.m., a person suspected of shoplifting was detained somewhere along Sidewinder Drive.

On May 11 at 7:34 p.m., meanwhile, the police were told a manager of a store on Snow Creek Drive was fighting a small group of youngsters. There was apparently a struggle with one of the youngsters at one point. The youngster then ran away, the police said. The Police Department classified the case as an assault, but it was not clear from public police logs who the victim was.
