Fire danger high for Ashley National Forest

There is a Red Flag fire danger warning for the Uinta Basin and the Ashley National Forest for Tuesday, June 18, to Thursday, June 20, according to a press release from the Ashley National Forest.

Dry fuels and high winds are the reason for this red flag warning, and the Forest Service is asking visitors to exercise caution when having campfires. It is recommended that people abstain from having campfires, but if one does it is important to ensure the fire is dead out before leaving.
