On Saturday, Aug. 17 at 1:22 a.m., a taxi driver waved a Park City police officer down somewhere along Deer Valley Drive saying that a passenger was unruly and intoxicated. The passenger apologized, the police said.
Earlier that evening, meanwhile, the police were called to intervene in another dispute between a taxi driver and a passenger. At 12:55 a.m., the police were summoned to Main Street for the complaint.
The police said a taxi driver told an officer the passenger was taken to Deer Valley twice. The passenger fell asleep and the driver returned to Main Street, the police were told. The passenger declined to provide the cab driver identification, the police said.
The Police Department classified the case intoxication.
