On Sunday, Aug. 18 at 2:20 a.m., the police received a complaint from someone on Stonebridge Circle reporting that they had received phone calls with someone breathing into the other end of the line. The police classified the circumstances as suspicious.
A suspected drunken driving case was reported at 1:44 a.m. on the 1800 block of Kearns Boulevard. Public police logs did not provide details.
On Saturday, Aug. 17 at 10:12 p.m., the police were called to the 1800 block of Homestake Road, where someone complained about a bounce house that was put in a common yard in a condominium complex. People were making noise after 10 p.m., the police were told. The person who contacted the policed indicated it was an ongoing problem.
At 10:38 a.m., the police told three bicyclists to leave the skate park at City Park. Bicyclists are prohibited from using the skate park.
On Friday, Aug. 16 at 11:37 p.m., fireworks were reportedly set off in the parking lot outside Park City High School.
A hit-and-run traffic accident was reported at 8:15 p.m. on the 1500 block of Sullivan Road. Public police logs did not provide details.
A driver reportedly crashed into a wooden fence along the 1100 block of Deer Valley Drive at 7:01 p.m. The police indicated the case might involve a drunken driver.
Someone reported seeing plumes of smoke along the 500 block of Main Street at 12:44 p.m. The police said the smoke came from a barbecue.
On Thursday, Aug. 15 at 8:55 p.m., the police received a report about cattle on the road along S.R. 248 as it parallels the Rail Trail.
At 10:21 a.m., a moose was seen crossing the road on Kearns Boulevard in the vicinity of Bonanza Drive. A police officer who responded was unable to locate the animal.
A vehicle was reported to be missing from where it was left somewhere along Woodside Avenue at 7:45 a.m. The police indicated the vehicle, a Hyundai, was not listed in the towing logs. It was apparently last seen the previous afternoon. The police classified the case as an auto theft.
On Wednesday, Aug. 14 at 11:47 a.m., the police received a complaint that a bicycle was stolen off a vehicle rack somewhere along Sidewinder Drive.
On Tuesday, Aug. 13 at 7:41 a.m., the police received a complaint about a hit-and-run accident along Sunrise Circle. The accident occurred the previous week, the police were told.
On Monday, Aug. 12 at 10:07 p.m., the police were called to a restaurant in Prospector, where 14 men at a table reportedly were not willing to pay the bill.
