The Park City Police Department last week received at least two reports that people might be living in places where they should not be, potentially squatting in someone else's place.
On Thursday, Sept. 12 at 12:03 p.m., the police received a report from somewhere along Sidewinder Drive that a couple might be squatting in a residential unit. The people were seen leaving a unit that was believed to be unoccupied, the police were told. They were loading a vehicle with unspecified items, according to police logs. The Police Department classified the circumstances as suspicious.
On Monday, Sept. 9 at 6:49 p.m., the police received a report from someone along Deer Valley Drive that a person might have been living for three weeks at a location where they should not have been. The police were told a bicycle was at the location, but the person was not there at the time. The police classified the case as trespassing.
