The Park City Police Department last week received several reports of deer causing traffic hazards and another one of a deer that was stuck in a fence.
On Sunday, Oct. 20 at 9 a.m., someone reported a deer had become lodged in a fence outside a waterworks building on Richardson Flat Road. The police were told the animal appeared to be injured and might need to be put down. The animal, though, was gone when an officer arrived.
Earlier that day, at 12:44 a.m., a large herd of deer was seen in the road in the vicinity of one of the intersections of Kearns Boulevard and Cooke Drive. The police said the animals created a traffic hazard.
On Tuesday, Oct. 15, four deer were seen along the 1500 block of Kearns Boulevard at 6:26 a.m. The animals were seen in traffic at some points, the police were told.
