On Sunday, Oct. 20 at 6:38 p.m., two men were reported to be fighting in a nightclub on the 400 block of Main Street. The police, though, discovered that the two were engaged in an argument. The Police Department classified the case as disorderly conduct.
The police were called to a location along Meadows Drive close to a trail at 6:32 p.m. after someone reported spotting a man in a vehicle looking through a telescope. The person who contacted the police described the situation as suspicious.
A construction cone was spotted in the road at or close to the intersection of Park Avenue and Heber Avenue at 12:43 p.m. An officer moved it to the side of the street.
A planter box on the 400 block of Main Street was reported damaged at 11:57 a.m. The Police Department classified the case as criminal mischief.

At 10:07 p.m., someone reported smelling smoke inside a house along Woodside Avenue, but the person did not see flames. The Park City Fire District responded.
An elderly couple from Arizona approached the police asking directions to a hotel, apparently either on Sidewinder Drive or in the vicinity of the street. An officer had the couple follow him to the hotel.
On Friday, Oct. 18 at 10:17 p.m., a dog was reported to be barking for three hours somewhere along Solamere Drive. The dog sounded as it was in distress, the police were told.
The police received a report at 7:34 p.m. that a barricade without a warning light had been put over a manhole. The person was worried someone might hit the barricade, which was put in the vicinity of the intersection of Meadows Drive and Eagle Cove Drive.
At 7:19 p.m., a pickup truck was reported to be parked partially blocking a driveway for three hours along the 400 block of Woodside Avenue.
Graffiti was found in a courtyard on the 1400 block of Empire Avenue at 5:44 p.m. Earlier that day, at 11:05 a.m., graffiti was found in bathrooms at City Park.
The police received a complaint at 9:46 a.m. that a landscaping crew working somewhere along Kearns Boulevard pulled the locks off Dumpsters to throw away waste. The crew was not allowed to use the Dumpster, the police were told. The person who contacted the police said an argument ensued when the crew was confronted, the police said.
On Thursday, Oct. 17 at 11:22 p.m., the police received a complaint that someone was working with a hammer somewhere along Main Street. The person heard the noise for 20 minutes. The police classified the case as disturbing the peace.
Several scooter riders and bicyclists were reportedly seen in the City Park skate park at 10:50 a.m. Both are prohibited in the skate park.
On Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 10:04 a.m., the police were told a boom attached to a truck hit a bridge on Silver Lake Drive. The police said the bridge was slightly damaged. Nobody was injured.
A child's bicycle was found in the bushes on the 1000 block of Iron Horse Drive at 9:58 a.m. The police were told the bicycle had been there for a week.
On Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 9:38 p.m., someone along Lucky John Drive told the police between four and six shots had been heard. The police apparently investigated whether the noises came from a nearby field The Police Department said the circumstances were suspicious.
At 9:26 a.m., a police officer on patrol close to the intersection of Bonanza Drive and Kearns Boulevard stopped a pedestrian, indicating the person disregarded crosswalk displays. The person was warned.
At 1:46 a.m., two men, both reported to be intoxicated, were seen arguing on the 300 block of Swede Alley. A police officer shuttled one of the men to Park Meadows.
On Monday, Oct. 14 at 12:01 p.m., a vehicle was reportedly seen idling for 10 minutes along the 1700 block of Park Avenue. The vehicle was gone when a police officer arrived.
At 11 a.m., the police were told a construction crew broke a natural-gas line on Claim Jumper Court. The Park City Fire District was summoned.
The license plates were stolen off a vehicle parked on the 1800 block of Park Avenue at 10:46 a.m.
