On Sunday, Dec. 1 at 10:09 p.m., the police handled a case involving drugs on the 500 block of Deer Valley Drive. Public police logs did not provide details.

Someone reported losing a purse on the 400 block of Main Street at 9:13 p.m. The police were told a phone and other items were inside. In an unrelated case, at 7:21 p.m. on the 1700 block of Park Avenue, a purse was left in a vehicle and was gone when the owner returned 1 1/2 hours later. The police were told the vehicle might have been left unlocked.

At 11:24 a.m., the policed received a complaint about the possibility of a fraud involving a rental property on the 900 block of Park Avenue. The police were told the credit card of the person who was staying at the property was invalid. No payment was received after the person stayed for a night, the police were told. A stereo and towels were reported missing as well, the police said.

At 1:38 a.m., a loud party was reported on the 7800 block of Royal Street. Front desk staffers at the property asked them to quiet down several times, but the people did not, the police were told.

On Saturday, Nov. 30 at 10:39 p.m. the police were called to a property on Shadow Ridge Road, where an "out of control loud party" was reported, according to police logs. The party was in a room next to the person who complained, the police indicated. The police were told people in the other room were yelling and talking about drugs and alcohol.

At 1:30 a.m., the police received a complaint that a pedestrian broke the side mirror of a taxi on the 400 block of Main Street. The person bumped into the mirror, the police were told. The Police Department indicated the dispute was civil, not criminal, in nature.

On Friday, Nov. 29 at 11:44 p.m., a suspected drunken driving case was logged on Park Avenue just south of the Kearns Boulevard intersection. Public police logs did not provide details.

A driver is suspected of hitting another vehicle and leaving the scene on the 300 block of Marsac Avenue sometime before the 8:37 p.m. report to the police. The police classified the case as a hit-and-run accident. The victim's vehicle was parked in a driveway, the police were told.

On Thursday, Nov. 28 at 11:50 p.m., a fight was reported along Main Street. The police classified the case as an assault. Public police logs did not provide details.

At 1:11 p.m., someone reported a generator had been stolen from a work truck on the 1300 block of Lowell Avenue. The police were told the victim was gone for 20 minutes for lunch when the generator disappeared.

On Tuesday, Nov. 26 at 11:48 a.m., a wallet was found at or close to the intersection of Kearns Boulevard and Comstock Drive. It was found near a bus stop, the police said.

On Monday, Nov. 25 at 5:11 p.m., the police received a complaint that two aggressive dogs were seen on the Rail Trail close to Wyatt Earp Way. The dogs were not on leashes, the police were told. The person who contacted the police said the two dogs are walked off their leashes each night, according to police logs.

At 5:03 p.m., the police received a report that electronics were missing from a property somewhere along Solamere Drive. The property manager told the police a television, speakers and speaker equipment were taken from the residence within the past month. There were no signs someone forced their way into the property, the police were told.
