On Feb. 4, while snowshoeing in the Snyderville Basin, a Summit County man and his wife reportedly spotted two mountain lions on a hillside near Trailside Elementary School around 1:15 p.m.

Neighbors complained that people removing snow at Parley’s Park Elementary School were making too much noise Feb. 9 at 10:26 p.m.

No injuries were reported as a result of a traffic accident that involved a Honda Civic and Volkswagen Jetta in western Summit County Feb. 9 at 9:35 p.m.

A man’s tire was damaged when he struck a pothole at Kimball Junction Feb. 9.

A minor traffic accident that involved three cars near Kimball Junction was reported to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office Feb. 7 at 5:35 p.m.

Four people allegedly shoplifted items from a store at the Tanger Outlet Center Feb. 7 at 4:40 p.m.

Two deer were stuck in a fence near North Ridge Road in Wanship Feb. 6 at 2:48 p.m.

A hit-and-run traffic accident was reported to the Sheriff’s Office when someone driving a Geo struck a GMC Yukon near Kimball Junction.

A business in the Snyderville Basin was allegedly burglarized Feb. 5.

On Feb. 5, a Pinebrook man said his garage on Wagon Wheel Way was burglarized.

A woman on Sunrise Drive in western Summit County said there was a moose in her yard Feb. 4 at 6:40 p.m.
