On Feb. 20, narcotics officers seized a pound of marijuana and about $7,000 in cash from inside an apartment at Todd Hollow on State Road 248 west of Kamas, the authorities say.
A man in his 20s was arrested and could face drug distribution charges.

A man in Weber Canyon east of Oakley said people were shooting guns near his home Feb. 16.
Deputies were called to respond to a domestic dispute in the Snyderville Basin Feb. 16 at 7:35 p.m.
An woman from Evanston, Wyo. was changing a flat tire on the side of the road when a man offered to help her Feb. 16 at 6:30 p.m. "She [said that] when she was bent over, he got into her vehicle and stole her wallet," a Sheriff’s Office incident report states.

On Feb. 16, somebody driving a Range Rover at The Canyons allegedly struck a security guard who was trying to stop the vehicle at about 5:50 p.m.
No injuries were reported as a result of a traffic crash that involved a Toyota sport utility vehicle and Volvo in western Summit County Feb. 16 at 4:45 p.m.
A woman reported a hit-and-run crash when her Audi was allegedly struck by another driver while parked at Redstone Towne Center Feb. 16.

A Jeremy Ranch woman said her ex-boyfriend stole her identity Feb. 16 at 12:29 p.m.
Two skiers were allegedly trespassing on private property near The Canyons Feb. 16.
Three moose visited the backyard at a home on Bear Hollow Drive Feb. 16 at 9:50 a.m.
No injuries were reported to the Sheriff’s Office as a result of a traffic crash that involved a Mercedes and Ford sport utility vehicle Feb. 16 at 8:25 a.m.
A woman was injured when her Dodge pickup truck rolled over while she was driving east of Oakley Feb. 15.
A moose on the driveway of a home on White Pine Canyon Road wouldn’t let the homeowner pull into the garage Feb. 15 at 6:50 p.m. The animal reportedly charged the vehicle several times.
On Feb. 15, a Pinebrook woman reported a case of identity fraud when her ex-husband allegedly forged her name on a check to cash it.
No injuries were reported as a result of a traffic accident that involved two cars in western Summit County Feb. 15.
Somebody driving a Chevy truck allegedly stole about $60 worth of gasoline from a store on Main Street in Coalville and fled the scene north on Interstate 80.
Somebody called a dispatcher Feb. 15 to report that several emaciated horses near U.S. 40 were not being taken care of.
On Feb. 14, a woman was allegedly assaulted at a bus stop near Kilby Road in Pinebrook.
A Heber City man reported a case of check fraud to the Sheriff’s Office Feb. 14 at 12:48 p.m.
No injuries were reported as a result of a traffic accident in Silver Creek Feb. 14 at 7:20 a.m.
A hit-and-run traffic crash that involved a Honda Ridgeline parked in the Snyderville Basin was reported Feb. 13 at 4:06 p.m.
On Feb. 13, a child was locked alone inside a Volkswagen Passat at Redstone Town Center at 12:23 p.m.
A man told a dispatcher his skis were stolen at The Canyons Feb. 12 at 5:04 p.m.
No injuries were reported as a result of a traffic crash that involved two pickup trucks near Kilby Road Feb. 11.
A teenager allegedly ran off after stealing about $400 worth of items from a store at Tanger Outlet Center Feb. 11 at 10:48 a.m.
No injuries were reported as a result of a traffic crash that involved a car and dump truck in western Summit County Feb. 10 at 9:54 p.m.
