A 59-year-old woman was found dead of an apparent suicide in western Summit County on Nov. 2.

Other calls received last week by Summit County Sheriff’s Office dispatchers included:

A girl allegedly shoplifted from the Claire’s store at Tanger Outlet Center Nov. 8 at 3:20 p.m.

No injuries were reported when a man driving a Ford pickup truck struck a moose in Summit County Nov. 7 at 6:41 p.m.

On Nov. 7, a caller said hunters were in an area of Tollgate Canyon where hunting is not allowed.

A caller to the Sheriff’s Office on Nov. 7 said money was stolen from the cash register when a restaurant in Kamas was burglarized. There are no suspects in the case.

The burglars apparently forced entry into the business through the rear door when the restaurant was closed.

Nobody was seriously injured when a driver in a Ford Focus struck a deer in the North Summit area Nov. 7 at about 5:45 a.m.

On Nov. 6, a deputy cited a man and woman for lewdness at Trailside Park at about 10 p.m., said Detective Ron Bridge, a spokesman for the Summit County Sheriff’s Office.

"They were naked," Bridge said.

A caller said a man driving a white pickup truck at Kimball Junction was "possibly intoxicated" and "all over the road" on westbound Interstate 80 Nov. 6 at 9:05 p.m.

A kid smashed a pumpkin at a house in Willow Creek Estates Nov. 6 at about 8:53 p.m.

No injuries were reported as a result of a hit-and-run traffic crash at Tanger Outlet Center Nov. 6 at about 4:30 p.m.

On Nov. 6, a caller on the West Side of Summit County said items were taken when his vehicle was burglarized.

A case of domestic violence was reported to the Sheriff’s Office from the Snyderville Basin Nov. 5 at 11:41 p.m.

A man reportedly fired a shotgun near a trail between Pinebrook and Summit Park Nov. 5 at 2:30 p.m.

A driver told a Sheriff’s Office dispatcher he struck a cow in Summit County Nov. 5 at 7:21 a.m.

A woman on the West Side of Summit County reported a case of credit-card fraud to the Sheriff’s Office Nov. 4 at 5:39 p.m.

No injuries were reported as a result of a traffic crash at Kimball Junction that involved a Hummer and Jeep Nov. 4 at 4:23 p.m.

Two horses were loose on a road in the North Summit area Nov. 3 at 11:58 p.m.

A case of vandalism was reported from a house on the West Side of Summit County Nov. 3 at 3:10 p.m.
