School of Rock concert

The Paul Green School of Rock, in conjunction with the Park City School District Continuing Education department, presents an all-student concert, "The Rolling Stones." The show, which will feature more than 20 of the Stones’ classic songs, will be held at Ecker Hill International Middle School Saturday, Feb. 9. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; show begins at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $10 at the door.

Park City Board of Education meeting

The Park City School Board is scheduled to host a regular-session meeting at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 12, at the district office (2700 Kearns Blvd). Items up for discussion include: Mandarin Chinese, summer school, music program, eMINTS (high access to technology), and student and exchange visitor information system (SEVIS). Items up for decision are: kindergarten program, shade structure at Jeremy Ranch Elementary School, and student travel requests. New Medical Certification Courses at UVSC

Utah Valley State College’s School of Continuing Education is offering non-credit health programs this semester at its Wasatch campus. Four different courses EKG technician certification, dialysis technician, phlebotomy technician and pharmacy technician will help students get the training necessary for a medical career.
