Park City Day School student paints Sundance

Park City Day School sixth-grade student Britney Sanchez received an assignment from her art teacher, Susan Parker, to paint something inspired by her dreams. Parker said Sanchez dreamt about the Sundance Film Festival months before it occurred, and what she painted was inspired by the dream. "What is so amazing is the imagery in her painting could have been directly from the films, and she had no knowledge of what would be showing," Parker said. "Infinitely Polar Bear," "Watchers of the Sky," "The Battered Bastards of Baseball" and the Egyptian Theater all made appearances in 16 x 20" acrylic painting.
