Park City Day School students, second-grader Ayden Miller, left, and fifth-grader Hanna Farra each created a sculpture that was to be displayed at the National Ceramics Exhibition in Milwaukee, Wisc. Out of 1,500 entries, only 150 sculptures were chosen. Miller’s sculpture was inspired by Native American storytellers, and Farra’s bowl was inspired by Meso-American tripod animal bowls. The students were led by teachers and practicing artists Susan Parker and Lindsay Wellman.
