Green birthday parties

– Take the work out of your child’s birthday party and teach environmental conservation at the same time with Recycle Utah’s Birthday in a Box (a recycle bin, that is). With Recycle Utah’s new educational program for children, youngsters have fun painting "karma" stones, the garden pavers made from recycled plastic and take them home as party favors, along with a Recycle Utah water bottle for each child. The brand new 18-gallon recycling bin also contains water-based paints, brushes and a painting tarp to protect floors. As children paint, they listen to the "recycling song" by Jack Johnson, recorded on his CD "Curious George," which is a gift for the birthday child. The birthday child also receives "The Lorax," a book by Dr. Seuss about the fate of trees in the manufacture of "Thneeds." This jam-packed "Birthday in a Box" is available at the Recycle Utah anytime and at the Recycle Utah booth at the Park Silly Sunday Market. A tax donation letter is included with your purchase.
