Rally for the Cure
The Park City Golf Club’s 9-hole and 18-hole leagues are coming together for a cause with the Rally For a Cure Golf Tournament to benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation on July 17. The event will follow a scramble format that starts at 9 a.m. Other activities during the day will include contests for putting, coming closest to the pin and hitting the longest drive as well as a survivor’s board, raffles, a catered luncheon and an evening social. Fix your flat
Team Sugar/White Pine Touring will offer another "Fix a Flat" hands-on bike maintenance clinic for women on July 18 from 7-9 p.m. Team Sugar will get "down and dirty" about maintenance and on-the-trail fixes for mountain bikes. Clinic includes hands-on practice, free giveaways, refreshments, snacks and handouts. The clinic will take place at White Pine Touring, located at 1790 Bonanza Drive. The cost is $25 per clinic. The Alf Engen Ski Museum Foundation will host a five-year Anniversary Celebration honoring the Alf Engen Ski Museum on Saturday, July 14, from 1-5 p.m. at the Utah Olympic Park.
