‘Gingerbread House’ being sweetened into bed and breakfast
Construction crews are progressing as they remodel what was once a duplex on Deer Valley Drive into a bed and breakfast.
The highly visible building sits just off the Old Town roundabout. Some in the community refer to the building, 253 Deer Valley Drive, as the ‘Gingerbread House.’
The bed and breakfast will be called the Torchlight Inn. It will have six rooms and living quarters for the owner.
The owner, Chris Munro, says the work is going well and she hopes the Torchlight Inn opens in the summer.

For its first year, and smaller-scale eligibility, there are six participating restaurants and bars: KITA at Pendry, Kutchu Shabu, Escala Provisions Co. at Hyatt Centric, Red Tail Grill, Edge Steakhouse and The Farm.
