Girls’ soccer tryouts
Tryouts for the Park City High School girls’ soccer team run Monday, Aug. 3, through Wednesday, Aug. 5, from 8 to 11 a.m. at the turf field at Quinn’s Junction. Girls in grades nine through twelve are welcome to try out. Prospective players should bring sunscreen, shin guards, a soccer ball and plenty of water. Park City School District contracts for AI gun detection service
Park City School District will pay $546,000 over the next five years for ZeroEyes, a software company that uses artificial intelligence to detect brandished firearms, to monitor 650 cameras in all 12 schools.
