Park City Mountain Resort’s very generous ticket donation to Peace House is a big win for our community as well as for all early season skiers.
The community wins because Peace House in Park City benefits from all of the proceeds from ticket sales. Peace House serves domestic abuse victims in Summit, Wasatch and surrounding counties with shelter, as well as other educational and support services. This highly effective program depends on the support of local individuals and businesses and is very appreciative of the generous contribution from PCMR.
Skiers throughout the area win because they can take advantage of highly discounted lift tickets for prime early season skiing. Tickets are available now, and can be purchased from Jans, Cole Sports, the Sports Den in Salt Lake, or at both Zions Bank branch locations in Park City, while they last.
This offering is a wonderful opportunity for the whole community to support Peace House, an organization that does so much good in our community. I salute Park City Mountain Resort and our ticket-selling outlet partners for their fine community spirit and support.

Go see Urinetown and bring your change
Over this past weekend, I had the pleasure of attending the PCHS production of "Urinetown, the Musical" and was thoroughly entertained. This is a wonderful show under the direction of Mikell Price, the new drama teacher.
The cast, backstage crew, choreographer and musicians have worked incredibly hard over the last several months and it really shows. I encourage everyone to go see it, not only to support the drama program but for your own enjoyment as well. It runs the 18th & 19th at 7:00 p.m. and on the 20th at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Oh, and bring lots of spare change with you. Why? You’ll see.
